Pound Cake (Cynthia)

I had an awesome teacher named Cynthia. This is one of the treats her mother would make her as a kid.

2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
5 eggs
2 cups flour

1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
2. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add vanilla.
4. Add eggs one at a time.
6. Add flour a little bit at a time.
6. Pour into greased bunt pan.
7. Bake 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
